Earth Day, A love letter from Moonrover
April 22nd 2022. Today I woke up with a great feeling. I couldn’t quite pinpoint why I was so happy, perhaps I woke up on the right side of the bed. The sun was shining brightly through my living room windows as I walked by. The grass looked vibrant, and birds flying by on the backdrop of beautiful clouds and a blissful blue sky.
This day represents a time to acknowledge our impact on the planet. It represents a time for us to come together and unite as a singular human race to build a better home. It represents a day to remember, and not to be taken for granted. The fossil fuel and big oil industries have no heart for Earth, and if we never have another blue day, if all the grass turns to barren lands, it’s all just a small price to pay if it means mega profits for executives and board members.
Klima Infinity x Moonrover
Moonrover aims to bring more awareness to environmental protections, and to fight against carbon emissions by retiring carbon credits all on chain. We have partnered with KlimaDAO to achieve this goal with their product Klima Infinity. We have retired 100 tonnes of carbon from earth and plan to work with Klima to achieve their goals of driving demand to the carbon markets and forcing real world companies to either pay the price, or go green!
